This Beating Heart
There is a section of coast about 10km from my house in Brittany, that when the Atlantic storms roll in, creates epic seas - the result of the seabed rising suddenly, after the swell has travelled 3000 kilometres across the Atlantic. The first time I photographed a storm from there, I was standing in 130 kph winds for 8 hours - my kit and I were soaked through. I have photographed three storms since, and the images displayed here are the result of that endeavour.
