Ten Days in Sofia
Ten days in Sofia, working on other things. But it’s good to walk the streets at night, get up early, shoot from the window of your car. There is something redolent about looking back. Those ten days are a blur of shooting and meeting, organising and managing. It’s easy enough to lose the memory. It’s why I shoot the incidentals, shoot around the subject - to build a different picture that stands alone or dovetails with the project.
Everything informs everything else. And when you look back and distill the space you shared, that redolence floods back to you. I may never go back, but maybe I don't need to.
